Status Report and More Pictures

Well here I am blogging from downtown couch place. Yep, we are still down and out and I am about ready to go stir crazy so you get to read my wild rantings, that is if you choose to continue reading this post. READER BEWARE: What you are about to read could be funny, sad, or scary so if you choose not to continue click out now!

Health Update: Only because talking about it and re-telling the story 500 times is driving me nuts and just depressing me more, I would like to commit my current status to blogger, so I can avoid continually talking about it.

I have still been having extreme pain. I had a CT scan done on Monday. Nothing definitive was noted on it. Some calcifications on my appendix but no appendicitis. Clusters of nodes in the lower left abdomen and there is still some free fluid in my pelvis from the cyst rupturing. Our next step may be surgery. My Doctor wanted to exhaust every resource before we sign the papers for surgery because I am really high risk. This will be my fourth abdominal surgery in 2 years, add in adhesive disease, and unexplained pain I've got, the doctors shaking their heads in confusion!

So my doctor sent me to a new pain specialist in town. I guess she is supposed be able to pin point where pain is coming from and treat it. She took a look at me and ordered and MRI, which I had this morning at 7:30AM. She wants to see if it has something to do with my spine or discs in my lower back. So once we get the MRI report back we will discuss whether or not surgery is needed but I am tentatively on the surgery schedule.

To add to our fun story of dragon slaying and war, Addison woke up this morning puking. Yay! Can I just tell you life is getting better and better over here. So because she is sick I can't really ask people to help with my kids because I don't think my conscience could handle it if I got their family sick. So here I lye in my permanent resting place, at least until Kelly gets home to relieve me! Hopefully my kids will play my version of how today is supposed to run!
