IT Was My Birthday Shout Yahoo!!!!!

Okay so I wouldn't usually write all about me or my Birthday but this year my Birthday was exceptional so I had to give a shout out to a few people who made it all possible.

Let me just say we have had way too much fun at my house lately. We have had box parties. (The kids made one of our large boxes into a cave that they camped in for a whole evening. So stinkin' cute!

Then the other day I decided to take some extra time on the girls' hair. The result, I straightened both girls' hair and flipped it out. add a sparkly head band and you got two of the youngest trend setters! I love it! They are so stinkin' cute -- Oh wait I already said that!

Then my birthday! Let's just say i told Kelly there is no way he can top what he did this year. he totally surprised me! I often tease Kelly that he does not have a romantic bone in his body! Well I am currently eating my words now. Kelly informed me on Wednesday night that he had arranged for me and a "guest" of my choice to have a massage on my birthday. i honestly did not believe him. I said you are joking right? It is so out of character for him to totally surprise me and go so over the top! I love it! Anyway, i chose to take my BFF Ashley. Let's just say Saturday couldn't get here soon enough! Well Saturday came and I found out we got to go to Essence of You here in Idaho Falls. I have never felt so special in my whole life! We were totally pampered. We got a big soft robe and slippers. They took us to a waiting area with snacks and a big fireplace not to mention some very posh decor. Then we were taken to a room where white rose petals were sprinkled down our massage beds. Add some relaxing music and some very well trained massage therapists and you have two very relaxed women. I was in heaven! Needless to say, Kelly has been permanently placed on the "Nice List"!

Oh but that's not all folks. That morning before leaving to the spa Kelly let me sleep in and I awoke to the most yummy smelling breakfast! I was summoned to the kitchen and as I entered the kitchen was decorated with a birthday table clothe and streamers. On my birthday lay, in cased in clear plastic, a hot pink I-Pod. That's right an I-Pod! I keep telling Kelly he shouldn't have. I am almost positive he may have sold some of his organs on the black market to pay for all of this! LOL!

Ashley surprised me too! Ash you are a naughty little devil. She got me some bling for my birthday! I think she is about to kill a Kay Jewelers employee because it did not arrive in time for my birthday, so she gave me a card with a picture of the bling in it! Really, I don't deserve all of this! I don't even know what to say!!!

I got a lot of phone calls from family and friends that meant so much to me that you took the time to call me! Kelly's parents came and brought me a beautiful wooden plaque reading "It's the most wonderful time of the year" They also brought my favorite, Christmas Stories to read before Christmas! Thank you soooooo much!!! My parents got me the new Taylor Swift CD that went Swiftly onto my I-Pod. Thanks Mom and Parker!

It was nice to get things for my birthday but little did everyone realize is that it meant so much more to be thought of so dearly and deeply on my Birthday. So although I am super, way, out of this world excited, I feel really warm inside knowing that Heavenly Father has blessed me with so many wonderful people in my life! Thanks for being so awesome!!!!!
