I know I am a poet and didn't know it! HA HA! Well we have somewhat recovered from our Christmas Festivities! We had lots of fun and lots of snow. I absolutely love a "White Christmas"! I just don't like driving in it!
Our festivities started on Tuesday with Prime Rib dinner and Kelly's parents house. Can we say YUM! Yeah Sara my extra 10 pounds thanks you, it was so delicious. We had an awesome program. Everyone's family did a little something and Grandpa Wray read the Christmas Story from the Bible. There was even a singing of "The Twelve Pounds of Christmas" Ask me later it is too hilarious to merely write about.
We stayed the night at Kelly's dad's house and then had a special visit with my Grandma Peterson who has made her long awaited return from St George. It was so nice to see her and get a great big hug! I love her so much and we are glad to have her home again! It was also fun to catch up with my Aunt and Uncle!
We then headed out to Kim's house for some seriously good food, a little Dance Dance Revolution mixed with a little Guitar Hero and some Catch Phrase, well heck it was one awesome Christmas Eve!
We then drove home to snuggle our little who's into bed and don't worry Santa found us!!! I'm sure he is up to date with the latest GPS system especially in our weather! We love you Santa!! As you can see from some serious bed head we were up EARLY. My kids were up at 4:30AM but we held them off until around 6AM. YIKES!!!! It was totally fun! My sister Brittany was here to share in the fun. We couldn't do it without her!
Christmas Day held more good food produced by my Sister Brittany, some more Guitar Hero, and some serious Wii playing! Any way, it was a blast and I'm glad I have 12 more months to prepare for next year! We hope your Christmases were bright too!!!
